Technology meets thoughtful care
What is Alma TED?
Alma TED is an ultrasound-based system that uses acoustic sound waves and air pressure, paired with a topical hair-care formula. The manufacturer describes its Impact Delivery™ technology as enhancing topical application to support hair and scalp wellness and fuller-looking hair.
The treatment does not use needles or scalp incisions. It is not a hair transplant, and it does not establish why hair is thinning. At AGAPE, the conversation begins with your history, your scalp, and the goals of your care plan.
Begin with a trichology assessment
Your appointment, considered
A treatment experience with you in mind.
Manufacturer guidance provides a starting point. Your assessment determines what is appropriate for you.
A focused session
The patient brochure describes approximately 20–25 minutes for treatment. This is separate from AGAPE’s 90-minute evaluation appointment; confirm your full visit time when booking.
Needle-free delivery
The handpiece is used with a topical formula. The brochure describes a warm sensation and a ringing sound during treatment. Comfort varies; let your practitioner know if anything feels uncomfortable.
A plan, not a promise
The manufacturer recommends at least three treatments, one month apart. AGAPE will discuss suitability, scheduling, follow-up, and current pricing before a series is booked.

The formula behind the experience
Support for scalp health. Care for your hair.
The supplied manufacturer materials describe a topical formula with ingredients intended to support scalp health, moisture, follicular strength, and the appearance of thicker, fuller-looking hair with improved shine.
Some supplied editions use the name TED+. Formula details differ between editions, so ask AGAPE which product is used and review the current ingredient list, allergies, and sensitivities before treatment.
Understand scalp concernsThe AGAPE evaluation
A closer look at your roots.
Changes in your part, hairline, or shedding deserve context before a treatment choice. Our 90-minute evaluation is a separate appointment from the Alma TED procedure.
Your history & concerns
Discuss when changes began, previous care, styling practices, health history, and what matters most to you.
High-magnification imaging
Scalp imaging provides a visible baseline for discussion. A full personalized written report helps put observations and next steps into context.
Preparation & ongoing care
Discuss at-home scalp preparation and detox exfoliation, continued imaging, and functional blood chemistry analysis with recommendations if needed. Confirm suitability, who interprets testing, and separate costs.
A little more clarity
Is Alma TED right for you?
Thinning, a changing hairline, or increased shedding can prompt a treatment conversation. Candidacy depends on the cause of your changes, scalp condition, history, and goals—not on a photograph or a treatment name.
Assessment before assumptions
Describe the pattern and timing of your hair changes and any previous treatments. An assessment can guide the next step, while unexplained or sudden loss may require medical evaluation.
Read about the assessmentSuitability & preparation
Discuss allergies, sensitivities, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any scalp irritation. Ask the practitioner to review contraindications, product ingredients, washing and styling instructions, aftercare, and potential risks. Do not stop prescribed care without your clinician’s advice.
When scalp concerns need attentionTrack a meaningful baseline
Compare dated images with consistent lighting, part placement, angle, and styling. Ask when your plan will be reviewed and what changes are realistic. A cosmetic treatment cannot promise to restore hair where follicles have been permanently lost.

Questions worth asking.
How long is an Alma TED session?
The manufacturer patient brochure describes approximately 20–25 minutes for treatment. AGAPE’s 90-minute evaluation is a separate appointment. Confirm the full visit duration and what is included with the team.
How many treatments should I expect?
The manufacturer recommends at least three treatments, one month apart. Your practitioner will discuss an individual plan, whether further or maintenance visits are appropriate, and the current quote before you begin.
What does treatment feel like?
The manufacturer describes warmth and a ringing sound during the needle-free treatment. Experiences vary. Discuss comfort and sensitivities beforehand, and tell your practitioner if you feel uncomfortable; a painless experience is not guaranteed.
When might I see a change?
The brochure describes possible early changes around one month after the first treatment, with additional sessions recommended. That is not a guaranteed timeline. Response varies, and some people may not see the change they hope for. Review progress with your practitioner rather than relying on promotional examples.
Can Alma TED replace medical evaluation or prescribed treatment?
No. Sudden patchy loss, pain, sores, rapid change, or possible scarring warrants appropriate medical evaluation. Alma TED is not a diagnosis or a substitute for prescribed treatment. Coordinate any treatment changes with your clinician.
Will I need blood testing?
The existing AGAPE evaluation offering includes discussion of blood chemistry when needed. Ask who recommends and interprets any testing, whether it is appropriate for you, and whether separate costs apply.
What should I do before and after treatment?
Get the team’s specific instructions for scalp preparation, washing, styling, and topical products. Do not assume oils, exfoliation, or other scalp services are appropriate immediately before or after treatment. Discuss any irritation before your appointment.
What does Alma TED cost at AGAPE?
Contact AGAPE for current pricing and a personalized quote. Confirm whether the evaluation, treatment series, products, imaging, and follow-up are included or priced separately.
